gol.gg API alternative: the stats, without the scraper.
gol.gg is where analysts read pro League of Legends stats, but it has no API: every project that needs its numbers ends up maintaining an HTML scraper. The same ground as documented REST JSON: series and game results, drafts and bans, team and player stats, head-to-head, on stable ids with a free key.
- No scraping, no HTML parsing
- Team, player and game stats
- 500 free requests / month

Give Claude, Cursor and ChatGPT the League of Legends esports data. One command writes the MCP config; agents call live match, team, player and schedule tools with real ids instead of guessing them, and your key stays on your machine.

Why not keep scraping
A scraper breaks every time the page layout changes, and it has no ids you can join on. A REST API gives the same numbers with stable match, game, team and player ids, a documented response shape and a rate limit you know in advance.
This is not gol.gg's data or an official Riot feed: it is Cito's own League of Legends esports dataset, built from public sources and documented endpoint by endpoint.
